What you can trust about us

We don’t sell mushrooms. We explain what the research says about them.

Mycology Minded exists because the mushroom space is full of two failure modes — wellness sites that overstate every health claim, and forum threads that bury actual evidence under anecdote. We try to be the third thing.

Every supplement post discloses our affiliate relationships at the top. Every clinical claim is sourced to a study you can read. Every product review tells you what we’d actually buy and what we’d skip. Editorial decisions are not influenced by affiliate relationships — when a product is bad, we say it.

The voice is calm. The work is cited. The audience is people who treat their own brains seriously.

The 5-point supplement checklist

Stop buying mushroom supplements made of grain.

Most “mushroom” supplements on Amazon are mycelium grown on grain — basically starch in a capsule. There are five label cues that separate the real product from the filler. Get the checklist, save it to your phone, never get fooled at a checkout again.
